AUR30616 – Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who perform a broad range of tasks on a variety of light vehicles in the automotive retail, service and repair industry.

Entry Requirements

Domestic students:

• Students must be minimum 18 years of age.
• Have Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF) working Level 3 – based on pre enrollment LLN assessment.

International students

• Students must be minimum 18 years of age and Students must have completed an equivalent of year 12.
• IELTS band 5.5 or equivalent or have Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF) working Level 3 – based on pre enrollment LLN assessment.

Certification and Outcome:

Students will need to successfully complete all units in this course to receive certificate of AUR30616 Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology. Learners who partially complete the qualification will receive a Statement of Attainment for the units they are deemed competent.

It is mandatory to complete work placement hours to be eligible for attainment of this qualification.
